At Abbey Chilled we work in a temperature controlled and strictly monitored environment, storing, handling and distributing food products for our client.
The building was purpose built in 2009 and provides state of the art accommodation for offering a chilled storage facility. The building is fully white walled with a power floated floor and ceiling mounted refrigeration capable of taking the unit to minus 20 degrees Celsius.
A Blast Chiller is also fitted within the unit to provide rapid cooling using a specially design layout and equipment to allow fast air flow between products which in turn reduce the temperature of a product much faster than a conventional fridge or Chiller unit.
We have recently installed 50kw of solar pv on the roof to reduce our carbon foot print.
