After starting off in a small office at the home of the owner David Sutton, Abbey Produce Ltd has just celebrated 25 years of trading in the Potato Industry.

The Company has grown to be consistently one of the top twenty movers of potatoes in the Country. It specialises in bulk processing potatoes, both contracted and free purchase material and are one of the largest suppliers of bagged frying/chipping potatoes to Fish and Chip Shop wholesalers.
Each sample is regularly checked for fry, dry matter, peel quality and size, in our purpose built sample laboratory.

The ‘Abbey’ brand is recognised as a quality product throughout the industry.

In recent years Abbey Produce has been instrumental in promoting the variety Markies which is being perceived as the new ‘quality’ frying potato.
